about

Hi.

I talk clay, make with clay and teach about it.

I am a former Fine Art Sculpture student from Brighton. My ceramic work is influenced by my natural surroundings and love of living by the sea. I experiment working with materials in a raw state and discovering the nuances between perfection and failure in the process of making.

My story with ceramics started when I was only 13 – back in a small village in Poland, where I was lucky to be introduced to clay by the local artist and was encouraged to ponder and wonder as well as enjoy the process of making with it.

Chisel Pottery is my studio in Selsey, West Sussex, where I can explore my own ideas working essentially with hand building and thrown pottery techniques. It is my dream to share the love of clay with others and looking forward to offering small group classes and workshops – voila!
